Right hand drive RS6 Avant at Cars and Coffee (San Jose, CA) this morning. For some reason I didn’t take a pic of it but luckily my friend did.

I forget the year (I want to say 2004), but one year of them is legally importable as long as a registered importer federalizes it.
Edit: it's 2003. https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2…

Guessing it’s a 2003. They’re importable as long as they’re federalized. https://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/FR-2…

Yeah but this one isn’t a ‘03. Does anyone know if Horchaus were successful in importing any of those to the U.S. ? I might be wrong but isn't California one of the more strict states to import cars into?

Looks like Paul Walker got one federalized: http://bringatrailer.com/2014/05/18/fed…

if it’s a right-hand-drive model of a car which is already sold here, then federalizing it is only a matter of firmware updates and replacing a handful of parts. there’s no law against driving a RHD car in the US, as far as I know.
